I had previously had a few lessons when I was 17 and again at 23, but absolutely hated driving, was overly nervous, and didn't enjoy it one bit. I felt driving just wasn't for me. I never felt that I had ever learnt or achieved anything from the few lessons i'd experienced and had given up that i'd ever get my license. I started learning to drive with Andy in March, from the start Andy made me feel relaxed. Unlike the previous instructors he was always positive and never shouted at me when I did things wrong. I never felt out of my depth or like a bad driver, he pushed me the right amount at the right times and always explained the hows and whys fully to me rather then barking orders such as change gear etc. he was always on time and flexible if I had to change a lesson last minute due to my line of work. It had become a running joke with family and friends that I would never be able to drive, but on the 7th may at almost 36 weeks pregnant I was able to pass my test with only 5 minors, not only has Andy helped me achieve what I thought was impossible (in just over 2 months!) - I feel he has also taught me how to be a safe driver for life - not just how to pass the test on the day, which is especially important to me as I will be transporting around my baby. I feel he has given me knowledge that I will be able to use on the road every day. Thanks andy for all the support and help you gave me - I can't recommend you enough!

I had previously failed my test a couple of times with another instructor over 2 years ago, and had lost all confidence in myself and my driving ability. I decided to try again recently with Andy Stark, he has proved to be a wonderful instructor . He immediately put me at ease and has always been positive in his attitude and worked wonders with my confidence.
On my first lesson with Andy he gave me the LDC driving book which gave me a valuable insight into driving skills and in itself a good preparation for the driving test.
I would totally recommend Andy to anyone as a wonderfull driving instructor, he is flexible and will work around times convenient for you. He instills confidence. Now my brother is learning to drive with him!!

I had a fantastic time learning with Andy, he is a really good guy with a great sense of humour and works around the clock just to suit your needs! This allows you to learn quickly but also efficiently thanks to the LD driving skills book, this allows you to prepare for the lesson before you get in car saving valuable driving time and money.
I have no regrets about choosing to learn with Andy who I now has the upmost respect for, as he is so dedicated to help you learn the skills to drive bit also in a safe cost effective manner which I will never forget!
I would recommend Andy to anyone who is looking for an easy to talk to flexible driving instructor who puts you, the learner first making you feel comfortable behind the wheel and helps build your confidence when in the car.

Andy was a fantastic driving instructor, making me feel very at ease right from the start. He helped me to feel confident about driving and I would definately recommend him as an excellent driving instructor.
The driving book was an excellent way of learning driving skills before going out on a lesson. It really helped me to focus on the actual driving without having to waste valuble road experience learning the skills.

I was really pleased with the service that I received from Andy and LDC in general, I thought the LDC workbook was a brilliant idea and helped me manage my learning so that I could make the most of the time in the car.
